New discipline emerges: development and manufacture of equipment for the automation of petroleum production.Issue of documentation and beginning of commercial manufacture of the Kedr-AK42 Acoustic Cement Bond Logging Tool. Issue of documentation and beginning of commercial manufacture of the Kedr DGI-1 Depth Encoder enabling the company to stop using synchros and depth encoders made by other manufacturers. The BGF geophysical module of the Kedr-02 laboratory now comes with the additional IUN DC power source required for some types of downhole tools.

2000

Manufacturing of Kedr-01 discontinued. A total of 100 laboratories had been produced. First upgrade of the UIP universal power source of the Kedr-02 laboratory in order to increase the maximum DC supply current for downhole tools from 1 A to 1.5 A.

2001

Kedr-02 upgrade to enable the downhole tool data decoding routines to be changed without a complete reprogramming of the laboratory. Issue of documentation and beginning of commercial manufacture of Kedr-60AK Acoustic Cement Bond Logging Tool. Issue of documentation and beginning of commercial manufacture of the collar locator module for the SRK-73 tool. 2004

Kedr-02 upgrade to expand the capabilities of the data acquisition program running on a personal computer to generate digital commands for the control of downhole tools. A method for the automatic configuration of a number of connected modules, whereby the number, type and sequence of modules were automatically determined without operator involvement with appropriate adjustment of measure point coordinates, was first implemented in the Kedr-28K Integrated Modular Production Logging Tool and subsequently in the Kedr-38K tool.

2005

Issue of documentation and beginning of commercial manufacture of the Kedr-DMMG Magnetic Mark Detector. Development of manufacturing technology, issue of documentation and beginning of commercial manufacture of magnetostrictive sources for acoustic logging tools. Since then, all acoustic logging tools have been equipped with sources made in-house. Development of a high-speed digital telemetry technology completely eliminating the influence of noise and distortions on the signal in the communication line (geophysical cable). The telemetry speed of an acoustic cement bond logging tool is sufficient for full-waveform recording through a monocable at a logging speed of no less than 400 m/hr with a sampling interval of 0.1 m (16 digit reports with a resolution of 2 μs and a sampling period of 4 ms).
